In broader words, Carbon footprint is a measure of the total amount of greenhouse gases, mostly carbon dioxide (CO2), released into the atmosphere as a result of human activities or the production and consumption of goods and services. It serves as an indicator of the environmental impact caused by individuals, organizations, or events in terms of their contribution to climate change.
